    Your spoilt for choice down Wish Street for places to eat. There have been mixed reviews but for ourselves we can only speak well of The Kettle. Have used it several times on our visits to Rye and have never been disappointed yet. The food is good with portions being quite big. The fish is excellent.
    I have to agree with Becs2 in relation to customer service and answering cell phones whilst serving How rude. Perhaps a line or two to the management!!

    I only have one thing to say about this place. I NEVER had such oily food in my life. And I hope I never have it again.
    Staff is just terrible.

    Leaving Hastings to get fish and chips in Rye turned out to be a mistake 90p for a pork sausage, which shouldn't have cost 10p! Overpriced and poor quality. Definitely don't recommend!
